FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got questions? We've got answers!
  • We’re excited you made the switch to powder detergent! Our powder detergent works best when placed directly into the drum of your washing machine, instead of in the dispensing cup. Powder detergent packs a punch & the granules help to clean even better than liquid, so you really don't need much! Go for half a scoop for regular loads and a full scoop for larger, heavily soiled loads.

  • Don’t be surprised if you don’t see bubbles in your wash. We use safe, low-sudsing ingredients in all of our products - it’s better for your clothes and your washing machines! Bubbles and suds are often added to formulas to increase the “look” of cleaning effectiveness. Over time, this can leave a thin film on your clothes and cause extra wear on HE washing machine sensors.

  • Our Unscented formula is fragrance free and perfect for baby's clothing! We do not intend to come out with a separate “baby detergent”, as our products are already designed to be safe for all sensitive groups.

  • Yes! That is who they were designed for. Tough on stains while gentle on skin, including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. While we use only pure essential oils to scent our formula, we recommend our unscented products for those with extreme skin sensitivities.

  • We are currently in the process of becoming EWG verified. Stay tuned over the next 4-6 months!.

  • Always follow the laundering instructions listed on garment tags. In general, our detergent is safe on most fabrics excluding leather and silk.

  • Yes, our detergents are effective at any water temperature. For heavily soiled clothes, we recommend warm or hot water for best results.

  • Yes, our detergents are compatible for both standard and HE washing machines.

  • Yes! We are septic safe.

  • Different fabrics hold scent longer - cotton, bamboo, polyester, and spandex all differ in composition, so some of them hold scent more than others!

  • Yes, please always reuse or recycle our scoops and packaging!

  • Don't fret! In shipping, the scoop can sometimes settle to the bottom of the bag. If you’re feeling brave, you can dig to find it. If you lose your scoop, use 1 tablespoon of detergent for a normal size load or 2 tablespoons for an XL load of laundry.
